Happy New Year!
Since it’s a new year why not try something new? It could be something you have wanted to try for a long time, like a new hobby or skill, or it could be as simple as doing everyday things differently. You could drive or walk a different way to get where you are going, or brush your teeth with the other hand, change the direction of your bed, change the flow of furniture in your home…etc.
When you do things differently or try new things you create new neural pathways in the brain. This helps to keep your brain healthy and flexible.
